The position will be primiarly on-site with opportunities to occasionally work from home depending on mission tempo.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Write C+
code in accordance with the requirements specifications from System Engineer team Work in an agile environment that is fast paced and has a combination of legacy code written for a Windriver vxworks RTOS environment and a simulated linux environment.
Write Unit Test and Dev Test Python scripts to run in an automation framework Work with Test Engineers to troubleshoot end to end test procedures in both the vxworks environment and the linux environment Work with System Engineers to ensure requirements can be implemented and satisfied RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
At least 3 years of software development experience with C+
Self-starter that is able to work in a fast-paced team environment Strong communication skills Willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance
Qualifications:
1
years using VxWorks, or other RTOS.
Experience with Spacecraft Flight Software development and design.
Experience deploying software to embedded targets.
Experience in Python3, XML and/or scripting language (Linux Shells).
Experience with developing and debugging driver-level firmware.
Experience using common communications protocols/standards such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, SpaceWire, LVDS, RS-422, RS-485, I2C, SPI.
Experience using container engines such as Docker, containerd, or LXC.
Experience using networking software (netcat, WireShark) Experience using common electronic laboratory equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience debugging sensitive electronic hardware.
Experience with VS Code.
Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments.
Experience with one or more CI/CD tools.
Experience with one of the following ground software programs:
COSMOS, InControl, MAXGDS.
Experience with MAX Flight Software.
Experience creating software design diagrams.
Experience verifying Flight Software.
Experience with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
Experience with the Agile development process.
Experience writing and reviewing requirements.

(4 year) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
