As an Automotive Service Writer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our service department.
Your responsibilities will span across administrative support, technician coordination, customer communication, and quality control.
You will be a vital link between our customers, service writers, and automotive technicians, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our automotive service operations.
Pay & Work Details:
$22/hr - Bi-Weekly Monthly Revenue sharing 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday 1 hour unpaid lunch Weekends Off

Assist service writers in scheduling, managing appointments, and maintaining a consistent line of communication with customers Handle phone calls, emails, texts, and any customer inquiries when needed Check vehicles into the computer system and keep tabs of its progress from the moment it's dropped off to the final moment it's paid for Process paperwork, invoices, and other automotive documentation Process Extended Car warranty claims Technician Coordination & Support:
Work closely with automotive technicians to ensure we have a smooth workflow in the service department and with vehicle repairs Relay customer concerns or additional service requests to the appropriate technicians promptly Maintain consistent lines of communications with technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts and information for repairs, reducing bottlenecks in the workflow process Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers regarding service updates, estimated completion times, and any additional repairs or maintenance needed.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner Quality Control:
Perform quality checks on completed work orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards, helping reduce comebacks and customer misunderstandings Collaborate with technicians and service writers to address any issues or discrepancies in service documentation Recommended Skills Administration Attention To Detail Automotive Industry Claim Processing Communication Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
